Rare indoor collection plant. It is a variety of the Maranta leuconeura, with a wide silver stripe up to the center of the matte green leaf and symmetrical silver veins. Marantas and Calatheas are known as Prayer Plants because they open their leaves to catch more light during the day and close them, stretching them upwards at night.

Keep the soil constantly moist during spring and summer, reducing watering in other seasons. You can also place the pot on a plate with stones and water for gradual absorption according to its needs.
This plant thrives in an environment with temperatures between 18 and 27ºC, preferably with high relative humidity.
